Based in Menan, ID, the Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program is dedicated to supporting individuals facing food insecurity, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance access to fresh fruits and vegetables while promoting better health through nutrition education. We partner with local clinics and retailers to provide eligible participants with vouchers, allowing them to shop for fresh produce at no cost to their households. With a focus on practical assistance, our six-month program empowers families to make healthier food choices and manage their conditions effectively, all while fostering a supportive community environment.
