Situated in Middleton, ID, Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals living with diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to empower these individuals by providing essential access to fresh fruits and vegetables through partnerships with local clinics and retailers. Participants receive vouchers that enable them to shop at local vendors at no cost, ensuring they can enjoy nutritious options while managing their health. In addition to this critical food assistance, we offer comprehensive nutrition education, equipping households with the knowledge to make healthier choices. Referrals from physicians are necessary to enroll in our transformative 6-month program, where we work together to promote better health and wellness.
