At Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV), located in Mountain Home Afb, ID, we are dedicated to combating food insecurity among individuals with diabetes and prediabetes by enhancing their access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Through our strong partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we provide essential vouchers that allow families to shop for nutritious produce at no cost. Our program not only offers access to fresh fruits and vegetables, but also includes vital nutrition education to support healthier choices and better management of their health conditions. Patients are referred by physicians to enroll in our 6-month program, ensuring that our services meet the urgent needs of our community one household at a time.
