The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Moyie Springs, ID, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic sustainability. This transformative program provides hands-on education in organic food systems without charging tuition, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in a six-month immersive experience at our farm campus, where they grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings. The fellowship fosters collaboration with local non-profits to expand access to healthy food options, support farmers markets, and develop innovative strategies for food distribution. Through mentorship and community involvement, our fellows work tirelessly to promote equitable food practices and advocate for systemic change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
