Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering food-insecure individuals in Moyie Springs, ID, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes, by improving their access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Through strategic partnerships with local clinics and retailers, our program offers valuable resources including vouchers that enable eligible households to shop for fresh produce at no cost. In addition to providing these essential food assistance vouchers, we prioritize nutrition education to help participants make informed dietary choices. Referred by a physician, participants can enroll in our 6-month program to take charge of their health and well-being while enjoying the benefits of fresh, nutritious produce.
