The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in New Plymouth, ID, warmly welcomes those recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes to embark on a 12-month journey of learning and self-management, all at no cost. Offered in both English and Spanish, this program equips participants with valuable resources, including six informative e-booklets tailored to address key topics after diagnosis, and a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollees are encouraged to submit their phone numbers to gain access to the monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can connect directly with ADA experts, explore the vital relationship between diabetes and heart health, and take part in engaging discussions either online or by phone. Our mission is to empower individuals to thrive while managing their diabetes, fostering a supportive environment for lifelong health and wellness.
