Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering food-insecure individuals in Parma, ID, particularly those managing diabetes and prediabetes, by providing them with improved access to nutritious fruits and vegetables. Through strong partnerships with local clinics and retailers, we offer vouchers that enable households to shop for fresh produce at no cost. Our program not only facilitates access to healthy food options but also includes essential nutrition education, supporting participants in their health journeys. Eligible individuals are referred by their physicians and can benefit from this impactful 6-month program, designed to enhance both well-being and food security in our community.
