Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals in Parma, ID, particularly those living with diabetes and prediabetes. We believe in empowering our community by providing increased access to fresh fruits and vegetables, helping our participants manage their health through nutrition. By collaborating with local clinics and retailers, we offer vouchers for fresh produce, allowing eligible families to shop at no cost. Our six-month program not only supplies these vital resources but also includes nutrition education to foster healthy eating habits. Together, we work towards a healthier future, one meal at a time.
