The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Payette, ID, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a transformative six-month, hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm, our Fellows receive comprehensive education in organic food systems, enabling them to lead initiatives such as crop production, school and community gardens, and innovative health care education. We believe in making this Fellowship accessible, which is why there is no tuition fee. Following their initial training, Fellows maintain their momentum through a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations to increase access to healthy food, support farmers markets, and enhance food and ecological literacy in schools. Our commitment to building a just food system resonates deeply as we inspire the next generation of community advocates.
