The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Pinehurst, ID, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of food system advocates through a hands-on, experiential training program. We empower Fellows to become champions of a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our comprehensive curriculum covers organic agriculture, food security, and ecological literacy, equipping participants with the skills necessary to support community initiatives like farmers markets, school gardens, and direct-to-consumer food programs. We are committed to accessibility and do not charge tuition, opening doors for all aspiring leaders. Selected Fellows engage in six months of immersive learning at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in partnership with local non-profits. Applications are accepted until March, with experiences running from May to October, fostering a vibrant network of supporters for equitable food systems.
