Based in Plummer, ID, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating knowledge and nurturing advocates for a just food system that harmonizes social, environmental, and economic values. This comprehensive fellowship offers a tuition-free education in organic food systems, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Leaders in sustainable agriculture. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows gain hands-on expertise in growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and implementing innovative educational programs centered around food and ecological literacy. Upon completion, these Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to further enhance local food access and support initiatives like farmers markets. With a focus on mentorship and community engagement, the Fellowship is transforming the landscape of food assistance and empowerment in our communities.
