The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Post Falls, ID, empowers individuals to become advocates for a just food system through immersive training and hands-on experience. Our program sponsors selected Fellows to engage in comprehensive education on organic food systems, focusing on social, environmental, and economic justice. Over six months, Fellows gain practical skills at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diversified crops, implement innovative health education, and promote food literacy in schools and communities. Following their training, participants dedicate a Community Action Year collaborating with local non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods and support initiatives like farmers markets and community gardens. We are committed to making this life-changing experience accessible, ensuring no tuition is charged. Applications are accepted annually until March for a program that runs from May to October.
