Based in Potlatch, ID, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of food advocates and educators through hands-on training and empowerment. Our unique program offers participants a chance to immerse themselves in organic food system education without the burden of tuition, ensuring greater accessibility for all. Fellows are engaged in diverse, impactful initiatives such as growing and distributing crops on a market-style farm, leading innovative health education sessions, and enhancing school and community gardens. We prioritize food and ecological literacy, support farmers markets, and foster community food coalition activities, all while building essential distribution channels for healthy food access. Our Fellowship includes a six-month experiential residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their skills alongside local non-profit organizations. Applications are welcomed annually until March, with the program running from May to October.
