Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering individuals in Potlatch, ID, who are food insecure and living with diabetes or prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance their well-being by providing seamless access to fresh fruits and vegetables through partnerships with local clinics and retailers. By offering vouchers that enable households to shop for nutritious produce at no cost, we make healthy eating accessible and affordable. Additionally, our program includes essential nutrition education to help participants manage their health effectively. Eligible individuals receive a referral from their physician to enroll in our impactful 6-month program, paving the way for a healthier lifestyle and improved dietary habits.
