At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sagle, ID, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a sustainable and just food system. Our program provides a tuition-free, immersive experience, enabling selected Fellows to engage in hands-on organic agriculture training and community empowerment. Throughout their six-month residency at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, participants will learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain school and community gardens, and teach food and ecological literacy in local activities. After their fellowship, these passionate individuals contribute to impactful community projects through a year-long Community Action initiative, working alongside regional non-profits to enhance access to healthy food and support local farming. We invite those who share our vision for an equitable food landscape to apply by March for a transformative experience that runs from May to October.
