Located in Sagle, ID, Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to supporting food-insecure individuals managing diabetes and prediabetes. Our program enhances access to fresh fruits and vegetables through vital partnerships with local clinics and retailers, providing participants with vouchers to shop for nutritious produce at no cost. Alongside these vouchers, we offer important nutrition education to empower families in making healthier choices. To join this transformative 6-month program, eligible individuals are referred by their physicians, enabling them to improve their health through a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.
