Based in Saint Maries, ID, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating a more just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers select Fellows through comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic food education, crop cultivation, and community outreach. We prioritize accessibility by offering this transformative fellowship at no charge, ensuring that passionate individuals can become effective teachers and advocates. During their six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in diverse activities including managing community gardens, leading health-focused educational sessions, and supporting local farmers markets. Upon completion, they transition into a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional organizations to apply their skills and expand access to healthy food options. We invite those interested in making a real impact to apply by March for an enriching experience that runs from May to October each year.
