The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sandpoint, ID, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This innovative program offers a tuition-free education in organic food systems, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in hands-on learning by growing and distributing diverse crops on market-style farms, implementing health-focused educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy among students. The fellowship fosters collaboration with regional non-profits to support local farmers markets, improve access to healthy foods, and mentor the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture.
