About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Soda Springs, ID, we are dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in hands-on training and experiential learning at our farm campus, where they not only grow and distribute diverse crops but also implement innovative community health education, maintain school and community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy. During their six-month residency, Fellows develop vital skills through mentorship and collaboration with local non-profits, followed by a transformative Community Action Year that allows them to apply their knowledge while enhancing food accessibility in the region. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May through October.
