The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Star, ID, is designed to empower individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free 12-month curriculum. Participants gain valuable knowledge about diabetes management with six targeted e-booklets and monthly e-newsletters packed with seasonal tips and local resources available in both English and Spanish. Enrollees who provide their phone number have the opportunity to join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can interact with American Diabetes Association experts, ask questions, understand the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy helpful giveaways. Our mission is to support those navigating life with diabetes by creating a welcoming and informative environment focused on long-term health and wellbeing.
