Located in Star, ID, Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) is dedicated to empowering individuals facing food insecurity, particularly those with diabetes and prediabetes, by providing vital access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Through collaboration with local clinics and retailers, our program offers vouchers that allow families to shop for fresh produce at no cost, promoting healthier eating habits and better disease management. Participants also benefit from essential nutrition education, ensuring they are informed and equipped to make healthier choices. To join this 6-month program, eligible individuals receive referrals from their physician, creating a supportive pathway toward improved health and well-being.
