Located in Wallace, ID, the Rx for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (RxFFV) program is dedicated to supporting individuals facing food insecurity, particularly those dealing with diabetes and prediabetes. Our mission is to enhance access to fresh produce through strategic partnerships with local clinics and retailers. We provide eligible participants with essential vouchers for fresh fruits and vegetables, allowing families to shop at local vendors at no cost, along with vital nutrition education to empower healthier lifestyles. Enrollment in our six-month program is facilitated through physician referrals, ensuring those in need receive the support they deserve to manage their health effectively.
