The Daily Bread Program in Springfield, IL, is dedicated to ensuring that seniors in Sangamon and Menard counties receive the nutritious meals they need to thrive. This essential initiative offers both home-delivered meals and the option to enjoy meals at one of our seven cozy congregate sites, available Monday through Friday. While our menu features hot, general diet meals, they are not specifically tailored to dietary restrictions, and a menu is available for review. We invite seniors aged 60 and over to contribute a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal, though it is not mandatory, while guests under 60 are welcome to partake for a fee of $5.75.
