MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Charlestown, IN, is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to support every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities by providing annual screenings for obesity and personalized referrals to comprehensive weight management services. We offer a range of treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of Veterans, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that allows for in-home support and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
