Early Head Start (EHS) is dedicated to supporting families with children from birth to three years old, including pregnant and teen mothers, in Evansville, IN, and surrounding counties such as Vanderburgh, Posey, and Gibson. Our comprehensive services emphasize family involvement and care, offering quality childcare for eligible families in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. We cater to individual family needs with options that include support for children with disabilities, programs fostering social skills, self-confidence, and character development. EHS also provides nutritious meals, health screenings, educational workshops, and career development opportunities. Applications are accepted online, but due to funding limitations, spaces may be limited and families will be placed on a waiting list as needed.
