Hope for Heroes is dedicated to supporting veterans and military families in Fort Wayne, IN, by providing essential food assistance during challenging transitions. Whether facing deployment, reintegration into civilian life, underemployment, or homelessness, we offer nine months of groceries—amounting to 100 pounds of nutritious food each month—to help our heroes regain stability. Our program ensures that veterans can make informed choices about their food needs in a compassionate environment. Simply bring your DD214 or military ID to the Main Entrance of the food bank between 8:30 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, and our welcoming staff will enroll you in the program so you can begin receiving emergency food assistance that same day.
