Hope for Heroes is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to veterans and military families in Fort Wayne, IN, who are experiencing difficulties during challenging transitions such as deployment, release from duty, underemployment, or homelessness. Our program supports eligible veterans by offering nine months of emergency food supply, allowing them to select 100 pounds of nutritious groceries each month—equivalent to a full grocery cart—to help meet their basic nutritional needs and foster stability in their lives. We invite veterans to visit our food pantry, where they can easily enroll by bringing their DD214 or military ID between 8:30 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and receive their groceries on the same day. At Hope for Heroes, we understand the importance of nourishing both body and spirit as our heroes work towards regaining independence.
