The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship located in Huntington, IN, is dedicated to training and empowering community leaders who advocate for a just and sustainable food system. Our mission is to cultivate knowledgeable advocates who understand the importance of socially, environmentally, and economically responsible practices. Selected Fellows will engage in a six-month, hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, focusing on organic food system education and practical applications such as growing diverse crops, implementing health-centered educational sessions, and enhancing community gardens. Additionally, Fellows will foster food literacy, support farmers markets, and collaborate with local non-profits during their Community Action Year. By eliminating tuition fees, we promote accessibility to transformative education and enable passionate individuals to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
