The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Washington, IN, is dedicated to supporting individuals facing significant financial challenges due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens during these difficult times by providing essential utilities assistance and grocery assistance to those in need. We recognize the urgency of these services and strive to make a real difference in our community. While our grant specifically covers either utility or grocery costs, we also collaborate with local organizations to connect participants to additional resources and support.
