Located in Berea, KY, CORE is dedicated to supporting food and beverage service employees facing financial difficulties due to illness or medical emergencies. We provide crucial financial assistance to families with children, helping cover essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills, therapy, travel, food, and gas related to hospital visits, as well as childcare needs like diapers and formula. Our aim is to alleviate the burden during challenging times, ensuring that families can focus on recovery without the added stress of financial strain. Former CORE grant recipients are welcome to reapply after a year has passed since their last award, with assistance capped at $7,500 over a lifetime to ensure we can continue to support as many families as possible.
