The PNH Patient Travel Assistance Fund is dedicated to supporting individuals in Columbia, KY, affected by Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) by providing up to $800 annually for essential travel expenses to see a PNH specialist or obtain a second opinion. We understand the unique challenges PNH patients face and aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with necessary medical visits. Our comprehensive assistance covers various costs, including airfare, train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and co-pays for doctor visits or medical tests not covered by insurance. Each grantee is also allowed to bring one companion, ensuring that patients can have the support they need during their travels to access critical care. Through our program, we strive to empower patients in their healthcare journey and facilitate access to expert medical attention.
