The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cynthiana, KY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and equitable food system. By providing a free, hands-on education in organic farming and food systems, we empower our Fellows to become effective teachers and community leaders. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in practical learning alongside diverse agricultural practices, community gardening, and the development of innovative food access initiatives. After this foundational training, Fellows undertake a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement their knowledge and skills. Through this fellowship, we strive to promote food justice, ecological literacy, and sustainable farming practices while fostering community empowerment across the region.
