Located in Fairdale, KY, the Family Center Louisville is dedicated to supporting recently-arrived refugee mothers and their children by fostering their integration into the community. Our comprehensive educational programs include English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, cultural orientation, job readiness training, and art therapy, all aimed at empowering mothers to thrive in their new environment. For children, we offer the Family Center Grow Program, featuring tailored childcare and an engaging preschool curriculum designed specifically for early English Language Learners. Our daily activities focus on language development, reading, music, and group play, while also aiding parents in registering their children in Jefferson County Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education Programs. We provide services three days a week, ensuring that families have the support they need to succeed.
