The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Fort Thomas, KY, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. This program empowers Fellows with invaluable organic food system training, emphasizing environmental, social, and economic justice. With no tuition fees, we strive to make this fellowship accessible to all aspiring advocates and leaders in the food movement. Throughout a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in practical projects including crop cultivation, innovative health education, and the development of community gardens. Following their training, Fellows participate in a Community Action Year where they work closely with local non-profit organizations to promote food literacy, support farmers markets, and enhance access to healthy foods. Applications are open until March, with the program running from May to October each year, encouraging passionate individuals to join us in making a meaningful impact on our food systems.
