At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Franklin, KY, we strive to cultivate a just and sustainable food system through education and community engagement. Our program empowers dedicated individuals to become advocates and teachers within their communities, emphasizing social, environmental, and economic justice. Selected Fellows immerse themselves in a six-month experiential learning journey at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain hands-on experience in organic farming, food distribution, and ecological literacy. Throughout their Fellowship, participants will collaborate with local partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health education sessions, and support community gardens and farmers markets. We believe in making our Fellowship accessible; therefore, we do not charge tuition, ensuring that a passion for food justice is the only requirement to join this transformative experience. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, making a meaningful impact in the region while nurturing the next generation of food leaders.
