The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Ft Mitchell, KY, empowers passionate individuals to champion a food system that is equitable and sustainable. Through hands-on training and education at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows delve into organic food systems, agriculture, and community engagement without the barrier of tuition fees. This transformative program not only equips participants with the knowledge to grow and distribute diverse crops but also encourages them to create innovative health initiatives, maintain school gardens, and promote food literacy. After an immersive six-month experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement their skills and support healthy food access in the region. Applications are welcomed until March each year with programs running from May to October, inviting candidates to be part of a movement towards a more just and sustainable food system.
