The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greensburg, KY, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this unique program offers comprehensive training in organic agriculture, empowering Fellows to educate their communities on food and ecological literacy, maintain vibrant school and community gardens, and support farmers markets while ensuring access to healthy foods. Through a hands-on, immersive six-month fellowship at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year working with local non-profit organizations, participants gain invaluable experience that promotes social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems. With no tuition fees, the Fellowship is designed to be accessible, paving the way for meaningful change in food education and community engagement in the region. Applications are accepted until March each year, with programs running from May to October.
