At the PNH Patient Travel Assistance Fund, located in Hazard, KY, we understand the unique challenges faced by individuals living with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH). Our mission is to alleviate some of these burdens by providing vital financial assistance for up to $800 per patient each year, enabling access to specialized medical care and second opinions from PNH experts. Funds can be utilized for various necessary travel expenses, including airfare or train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and medical co-pays. We believe that patients should not have to compromise their health due to financial constraints, which is why we also allow grantees to travel with a companion, ensuring they have the necessary support during their journey to better health.
