Food Assistance is dedicated to serving the needs of the local community in Independence, KY, by providing essential emergency food services to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our food pantry is open to residents in need, allowing clients to access nutritious food every 30 days. To receive assistance, individuals are kindly asked to present proof of residency, a current photo ID, and a piece of mail addressed to them. First-time visitors will complete a brief registration form upon arrival. We distribute food on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, ensuring that help is available when it's most needed. At Food Assistance, we believe that everyone deserves access to nourishing food, and we are here to support our neighbors in their time of need.
