The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Irvine, KY, is dedicated to providing essential support to individuals facing financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare health conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens that come with these diagnoses by offering utility assistance and grocery assistance to those in need. While the grant funds are designated to cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with local organizations to connect recipients with additional resources. Our aim is to empower individuals and families during their most challenging times with practical support and compassion.
