The Senior Nutrition Program in La Grange, KY, plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of older adults by providing essential food assistance through our Meals on Wheels initiative and Congregate Nutrition Sites. Our program delivers nutritious lunchtime meals directly to home-bound seniors, ensuring their dietary needs are met, while also prioritizing those facing physical, social, and economic challenges. For active seniors, we offer the opportunity to enjoy healthy meals and social activities at one of our 24 neighborhood Congregate Meal Sites, typically open from 9 am to 1 pm on weekdays. While our congregate dining has been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to delivering meals and promoting independence and well-being remains unwavering. We welcome seniors aged 60 and older to apply and join our community of support, ensuring they have access to healthy meals and companionship throughout the Louisville Metro area.
