Located in Louisville, KY, the Family Center is dedicated to empowering recently-arrived refugee mothers and their children through a comprehensive educational program. We offer essential services for mothers, including English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, cultural orientation, job readiness training, art therapy, and skill-building opportunities to promote microenterprise initiatives. Our commitment to children's development is showcased in our Family Center Grow Program, which provides age-appropriate childcare and a robust preschool curriculum tailored for early English Language Learners. Our daily instruction engages young learners through a blend of language development, music, and interactive play, alongside assistance with childcare needs and navigating the Jefferson County Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education Programs. Services are conveniently available three days a week, ensuring that families receive the support they need during their transition.
