Family Health Centers, Inc. (FHC) is a dedicated not-for-profit community health center located in Louisville, KY, committed to ensuring all residents of Jefferson County have access to high-quality primary and preventive healthcare services, regardless of their ability to pay. Our mission reflects a deep-seated belief in the power of community care, offering the same compassion and attention to families that we desire for our own. FHC provides free and low-cost health classes designed to empower individuals with vital information, tools, and support for enhancing health and preventing disease. Our diverse range of programs includes Healthy Living initiatives such as Freedom From Smoking, Aerobics, Weight Loss, Diabetes Management, and Chronic Disease Management, as well as Pregnancy and Parenting classes covering healthy pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and parenting skills. We also have specialized programs tailored for refugees. Most classes are open to the public, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can benefit from better health education and resources.
