About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marion, KY, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through our comprehensive program, we empower Fellows with the knowledge and skills to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our Fellowship includes hands-on training in organic food production, innovative community health education, and food and ecological literacy, enabling participants to grow diversified crops and support local food initiatives. We are committed to ensuring accessibility by not charging tuition for the program. Over six months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in meaningful, experiential learning and, following their training, apply their expertise during a Community Action Year in collaboration with regional non-profits. Applications are accepted until March for experiences that typically run from May to October, creating transformative opportunities for both the Fellows and the communities they serve.
