The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Morehead, KY, fosters a new generation of advocates for a sustainable and equitable food system. This program, hosted by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, eliminates financial barriers by offering tuition-free education in organic farming and food system practices. Our dedicated Fellows engage in hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm, where they cultivate diversified crops, lead community and school garden initiatives, and enhance food literacy through innovative educational sessions. During their six-month immersive experience, Fellows will gain invaluable skills and insights before entering a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with local non-profits to drive real change in food access and community health.
