Located in Prospect, KY, the Family Center Louisville is dedicated to empowering recently-arrived refugee mothers and their children through a range of essential educational programs. We offer a nurturing environment where mothers can improve their English skills with tailored ESL classes, gain valuable cultural orientation, enhance their job readiness, and explore creative outlets through art therapy, microenterprise training, and parenting workshops. For children, our Family Center Grow Program provides age-appropriate childcare and a comprehensive preschool curriculum that caters specifically to early English Language Learners. Our daily activities include language development, music, reading, and group play, ensuring a solid foundation for future education. We are proud to support families in navigating the Jefferson County Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education Programs, with services available three days a week, creating pathways for integration and growth.
