Family Health Centers, Inc. (FHC) is a nonprofit community health center located in Prospect, KY, dedicated to ensuring that residents of Louisville and Jefferson County have access to high-quality primary and preventive health care services, regardless of their financial circumstances. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves compassionate care, delivered with the attention and kindness we would wish for our own families. FHC provides a variety of free and affordable health classes designed to empower individuals and families to enhance their well-being and prevent disease. Our diverse offerings include Healthy Living programs such as Freedom From Smoking, aerobics and yoga sessions, weight loss initiatives, diabetes management, and chronic disease management classes. Additionally, we support expectant and new parents through comprehensive pregnancy and parenting classes, alongside programs for refugees. Most classes are open to the public, and we encourage everyone to participate in our health education initiatives to foster a healthier community together.
