The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Radcliff, KY, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to a just food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on training at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, fostering a sustainable approach to food that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. We believe in accessibility, which is why we do not charge tuition for our Farm and Food Study. Over a six-month immersive experience, participants engage in organic food system education, learn to cultivate and distribute diversified crops, and implement innovative health initiatives within communities. Our Fellows also play an integral role in enhancing food literacy in schools, supporting local farmers markets, and developing networks that increase access to healthy foods. Following their training, Fellows dedicate a Community Action Year to apply their skills with regional non-profit organizations, driving impactful initiatives that resonate with our mission to create a fair and resilient food system.
