In times of crisis, the American Kidney Fund’s Disaster Relief Program is dedicated to supporting kidney patients in Richmond, KY, and surrounding areas affected by severe natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Our mission is to help individuals regain their footing by providing essential financial assistance that covers critical needs during recovery. Through our disaster relief grants, we enable affected patients to replace lost medications, secure special renal diet foods, afford temporary housing, and access transportation for ongoing treatment. Our program also assists in replacing clothing and personal essentials that may have been lost. We are here to ensure that in the face of adversity, our kidney patients can find the help they need to move forward with hope and stability.
