The Senior Nutrition Program in Shepherdsville, KY, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults by providing essential nutritional lunchtime meals through our Meals on Wheels Program, which serves home-bound seniors, and our Congregate Meal Sites for active seniors. We focus on promoting good nutritional health, independence, and well-being for seniors aged 60 and older. Although our meal sites are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Meals on Wheels continues to operate, ensuring that those who are home-bound due to illness receive nutritious meals delivered right to their door. We prioritize serving individuals with the greatest physical, social, and economic needs, and our Congregate Nutrition Sites, when open, offer a welcoming space for seniors to enjoy meals, socialize, and participate in activities five days a week.
